Laundry Detergent

1 bar of Fels-Naptha soap, shaved into small bits
1/2 cup Borax
1/2 cup Washing Soda

I start with about 4 cups of boiling water and these ingredients. I stir and stir until it is well mixed. I then put that all in a 5 gallon bucket and fill it about 3/4 of the way full of fairly warm water. Give it a quick stir with my longest wooden spoon, put the lid on and let it sit overnight. As I put this into my smaller container to use in the laundry room, I add about 20-25 drops of sweet orange essential oil. You can use any scent you really like with this.
